What's Happening Around the SWAMP!

Good afternoon, Ella Banks families,

I hope this message finds you and your family rested and well as we begin the second half of our school year. On behalf of our entire staff, I want to officially welcome you back to Ella Banks Junior High.

Semester two is a fresh chapter, one that builds on the relationships, routines, and growth we’ve already established while sharpening our focus on learning, expectations, and student success.

Our team has spent time reflecting, planning, and preparing to ensure that every student continues to feel supported, challenged, and known.

We are proud of the work our students and staff accomplished during the first semester, and we remain committed to maintaining a school environment that is safe, structured, and rooted in high expectations for all learners. Strong communication and partnership with families remain essential to that work, and we are grateful for your continued trust and collaboration.

As we move forward together, our priority remains clear: to provide a positive and focused learning experience that helps every student grow academically and personally.

Thank you for being part of our Ella Banks community. We are excited to begin this next chapter with you.

Sincerely,
Dr. Dickey
